This site collects almost nothing. Here is exactly what it does collect, and what happens to it afterwards.

01The contact form
If you fill in the form on the contact page, it sends me your name, your email address, and whatever you wrote in the message. That is the whole of it. There is no other form on this site.
The message is delivered to a DayLight mailbox by Resend, an email delivery service, and your email address is set as the reply-to so I can answer you. Nothing is added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list. I will not send you marketing, and I will not pass your details to anyone else.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script. Turnstile is chosen specifically because it does not track people across sites and does not profile you.
02Analytics
Visits are counted with Plausible Analytics. Plausible is cookieless, stores no personal data, and does not follow you to any other website. It tells me how many people read a page and roughly where in the world they were. It cannot tell me who you are, and neither can I.
There is no Google Analytics on this site, no advertising pixel, no Meta pixel, no session recording, and no heatmap tool. Nothing here follows you anywhere.
03Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies, which is why you have not been asked to consent to any. Your light or dark theme preference is stored locally in your own browser so the site remembers it on your next visit. That value never leaves your device and is never sent to me.
04How long I keep things
Contact form messages live in my mailbox the way any other email does. If we end up working together, the correspondence stays as the record of that work. If we do not, and you would rather I delete it, ask and I will.
05Your rights, and the short way to use them
Depending on where you live you may have a legal right to see what I hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to my holding it. Rather than describe a process, here is the process: email me and say what you want. It is one person reading the mailbox and the answer will be yes.
06Getting in touch
Questions about any of this go to the same place as everything else — the contact form. If this page ever stops describing what the site actually does, that is a defect, and I would like to know about it.
